THE "SAMSUNG GALAXY SKIN" IS MEANT FOR SUPER THIN AND FLEXIBLE

Samsung Galaxy Skin, it can flexes’, bends and adjusts to the shape at hand. There are two fairly rigid sides, and a flexible screen in the middle. so that a number of shapes and poses variations are possible, depending whether you are listening to music, using the GPS in your car, or projecting images from the phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Skin is also meant to be super thin and to use a special version of Google's mobile OS, called Android Flexy, which adjusts the interface according to the phone's current position and the app it is running.


This mobile designer dream, not so much because of the extended flexible AMOLED display radius shown in this mobile, but main thing is that batteries will be rigid in the foreseeable future. Flexible printed circuits are finding their way both in the lab and in real life applications, but like batteries?

Come out with a transparent Li-Ion battery that is also quite flexible, and will be perfect for placing into a phone like the Samsung Galaxy Skin one day, which was designed by Stanford university, these flexible batteries retain capacity almost as good as the metal collector-based ones we use in our Smartphone’s now, and are not going to cost much more to manufacture either.

 The flexible Smartphone arriving sometime next year, that will definitely make Apple’s iPhone 6 look as though it was something cobbled together during Alexander Graham Bell’s era. Using the material ‘graphene’ for its display, this has been touted to be “the miracle material” which will make flexible displays a reality by the time the Skin hits the market.

This polyimide substrate will replace the glass which most, if not all, Smartphone’s use at the moment, where it is soft enough to be flexible and bendable without suffering any damage to image quality, and yet it can still survive blows even from a hammer.

Expected that Samsung Galaxy Skin to be as thick and wide as the Galaxy S2, although the display will have double the length when unfolded, dimensions and internal memory capacities in as predecessors, the Galaxy Skin to measure 221mm x 67mm x 8 mm, while coming in 16GB and 32GB capacities.

The Samsung Galaxy Skin sports a 4-inch Super AMOLED, 800 x 480 resolution AMOLED display, an 8MP primary camera with 720HD video capture, Even it also has VGA secondary camera and a projector. And comes with 1GHz ARM-based Hummingbird processor. with 1GB of RAM .
