Google Nexus 7 tablet review: for wide, but not deep, pockets

It's small, cheap, has limited storage (and no expansion) and no HDMI out. Is Google's long-expected self-branded 7in tablet - made by Asus - a challenger in this space?

When the iPad first came out, with its 4:3 aspect ratio and 9.7in screen, lots of people were quick to call it a "just a large iPod Touch" - even though the aspect ratio alone indicated that it wasn't, and the performance and interaction quickly reinforced that.

Well, those people don't have to worry any more. Here's Google's Nexus 7 "tablet", with a 16:9 aspect ratio and 7in screen (measured, as they all are, on the diagonal). And we can happily say that this is a "large" Android smartphone. Except it only comes in a Wi-Fi version.

An American judge has banned the sale of Samsung's new Galaxy Nexus mobile phone in the United States after Apple claimed it copied some of the technology used in its iPhone.
A judge had previously banned the sale of Samsung's tablet computer. Both bans will continue until the matter is considered in court.

Better Hardware
Windows Phone 8 adds support for multicore processors (dual core/quad core) with Qualcomm being the exclusive chipset manufacturer. Initial devices will come with 1.7Ghz dual core processors (Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 Plus) with Adreno225/305 graphics. Another significant hardware addition is support for external storage via microSD cards. A major gripe, all current Windows Phone devices are limited to the internal memory and do not have a microSD card slot.

            At Apple's WWDC Developers event Apple has introduced IOS 6 for the upgradation of iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch devices. Apple products has sold more than 365 million IOS devices and nearly 80 percent of the devices are running IOS 5. From IOS 5 almost 1 billion iMessages are sent everyday

In this new IOS there are new 200 features. This support for the below mentioned gadgets

• iOS 6 support's on the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, and iPhone 3GS.
• iOS 6  support's on the iPad, iPad 2, and the new iPad.
• iOS 6 supporte's on the fourth-generation iPod touch.
• No word on Apple TV support.
• Coming this fall.
